Vegetable Patch For Your Kids

I wanted to get my child involved in gardening, but I thought if she just helps me with bedding plants and putting together hanging baskets she may get bored.
So instead I have created her very own vegetable patch. This way she can grow her own vegetables, cook them and eat them. I am hoping it will teach her how to eat healthy, where the food comes from and a little about responsibilities as well.
So far she has started to grow some sugar snap peas and some carrots. She has also started a little herb garden growing basil and mint.

I have bought her, her own little mini-gardening set and she has remembered to go out every evening to water her plants and is waiting patiently to be able to eat them!
